hey noah this is tim rodgers..im currently in boston for typecon 06...i just had a seminar this morning called what if you had to read right to left by mourad boutros and dave farey... they were talking about arabic type design it was pretty interesting and som beautiful work was shown. they also had examples of where advertising failed because of the culture.
i've fallin behind on it a bit but i have a blog of my trip here...
