I created this photo-illustration for the world-premiere production of Tennessee Williams’ last full-length play In Masks Outrageous and Austere for the Culture Project in NYC.

Since the show is about the disjointed reality of it’s leading-lady and her fading beauty, amidst a possibly artificial landscape, it made sense to create a surrealistic image. Mirrored plexiglass was hand cut and painstakingly applied to the model’s face to create something that had a grounding in reality.
